Only attracting visitors to your website is not enough. Drawing an audience to your web page is only the first step. Your audience should stay on your page, assimilate the information it presents and get what they are looking for, to result in a positive impact on your business.

Keeping a few things in mind will help you reduce your bounce rate considerably. For one, don’t annoy your audience with irrelevant automated theme songs or videos. Videos are known to generate interest among visitors but these options should be left to the user’s choice.

We all know the importance of first impression. If your website takes too long to load, it generates a negative impression in the mind of users about your services as well. Prevent this by enabling fast loading of your site by using efficient templates.

Always be ready to help. Visitors should be able to contact you very easily with any queries or orders. Your contact information should be displayed clearly and prominently on webpage.

Your website design should be such that it enables easy navigation and visitors can very easily make their way around your site. Keep the site uncomplicated and navigation straightforward. Your website design, layout and content should be interesting enough to hold the attention of the visitors.

A high bounce rate means that all the efforts put in to attract the online audience is going waste. It also indicates that even after landing on your page, you are not able to get any profitable business from your audience, as your website is failing to hold their attention. Keep these tips in mind to avoid a loss of good opportunity.
